Particle Sphere

This particle toy is made with Spline, and is constructed in a dead simple way.

There are 2 particle emitters (orange and blue) emitting at high rates, with no gravity or other passive forces on them. They'll slowly form a sphere when left alone.

There is a strong attractor force attached to an invisible orb, that is also set to follow the cursor/touch position. It's locked to a 2D plane, intersecting the sphere through the middle.

And it turns out that's kind of fun.

The right settings for the emission, but mostly the attraction, let you pull and also fling particles in any direction. You can create effects like a solar eruption flying into space, or draw ephermeral shapes in the sphere.

Also it will absolutely kill your battery of whatever device you're using.
